Movelentravio is an independent platform dedicated to the protection of our natural environment. We inform citizens and policymakers about the progress of the energy transition and the future of sustainable agriculture in the Netherlands. Our mission is to make knowledge accessible and to raise awareness about ecological challenges that affect us all.
Climate change and its consequences for the Netherlands

The average temperature in the Netherlands has risen by more than two degrees over the past century, which has significant consequences for our water management, biodiversity and agricultural sector. Sea levels are steadily rising, and the frequency of extreme weather events is increasing.
Dutch scientists from the KNMI warn that without drastic measures, the consequences will become even more severe. The protection of our coastline and polders requires continuous attention and the development of new technologies. It is crucial that we act now to secure the future for our children.

The role of the Netherlands in the green energy transition
